If upon generating your PDF you notice that the text got corrupted or some characters replaced by weird symbols, like this:
There are two ways to go about this:
01. Change font
A reason why some text gets broken or corrupted is when some special characters are used. Fusion fully supports languages that use the basic Latin character set: the twenty-six letters of the Latin alphabet, numbers, and punctuation.
If you are using a language that needs many accent marks, you can try using a typeface like Helveticish or Times Neue Roman.
If you are designing in a language that makes heavy use of accent marks, it’s important to download a preview of your design and check that all the text looks right.
For now, our text tool is unable to support languages that use Cyrillic, Chinese characters, or other languages that require characters beyond the Latin alphabet. We are also not able to support special characters such as emojis or emoticons.
02. Request for touch up
If the broken text does not consist of special characters yet the error still occurs, you may request these to be fixed as touch ups on Step 3 of the Ordering Process. Our Design Team will fix the characters and a final PDF will be sent to you for final approval.
