The Profile Form is where students answer or accomplish their profile questions. If there are issues in accessing or editing the form, it would affect the content going to be generated in the Profile Pages.
Here are some issues that a student may encounter in accessing or accomplishing the Profile Form:
01. Access Issues
If a student encounters difficulties in accessing the form (ex. link leads to blank page, various error messages appear, etc.) please check their internet connection status or firewall settings.
It might be possible that their internet connection is slow or Fusion is being blocked by the network they are connected to. If Fusion is being blocked (especially at school), an alternative is to let their parents accomplish the form at home where connection settings are more relaxed.
Another possible cause of this issue is when the form is accessed on a mobile browser. Please make sure that profile form link is opened on a desktop browser and not on mobile.
02. Unable to edit
If a student is able to load the form but is unable to edit any field, kindly check the browser version that they are using. You can check the browser version using this site: https://www.whatismybrowser.com/
If the browser is updated and the student is still unable to edit, please try switching browsers. Fusion runs best on the most updated versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Edge.
03. Unable to upload photos
For photos to be successfully uploaded on Fusion, they need to adhere to certain specs:
- Accepted file formats: JPG/JPEG, PNG or SVG
- File size should be under 25MB
- Colorspace used should be in RGB
If the photos you're trying to upload do not have the same specs, then it will fail to upload.
On the other hand, if you're sure that the photos you're trying to upload are within the specs, feel free to contact our Support Team by sending a request. Please attach the photos you're trying to upload so the team can check from their end.
