Page assignment is exclusive for Head Editors who add Contributors into their project. If you're an Editor or Contributor, you cannot assign pages to other members of the team.
Here are common some issues that may arise in assigning pages:
01. I added a new user but they can't access the page I assigned them
The first thing to do is to double check their assigned pages in the Team tab under the Manage page. Click on the Contributor's icon and then on Manage assigned pages.
If you don't see any check marks, it means that no page was assigned to the Contributor. Please tick on the pages you'd like to assign them and then click on Save Contributor to save the changes. After this, let the Contributor know so the next time they log in, they should be able to access their assigned pages.
If you see check marks, please double check their corresponding page numbers on the Create page. Letting the Contributor know the exact page number is more helpful than telling them the page titles they are assigned to. For the purposes of this example, these pages with checkmarks are pages 4-5
02. I can't assign pages even if I'm a Head Editor
This only happens when the trial period expires. Once the trial expires, Contributors cannot access their assigned pages anymore nor can Head Editors assign them new ones. Kindly upgrade your project or request for a trial extension so your Contributors can continue working on their pages.
03. The "Manage assigned pages" doesn't work
Here are the most common issues related to the "Manage assigned pages":
- Unable to scroll up or down to view the pages
- It only shows a blank box
- The check marks do not appear or stick after clicking on the pages
If you encounter any of those, please update or switch browsers. Fusion runs best on the most updated versions of web browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Edge.
